Before his daring escape from prison, the desperate criminal had been photographed from four different angles. The prison authorities sent copies of the photos to police chiefs all across the land with orders to notify them the moment an arrest was made. The next day a fax was received from an ambitious sheriff of a small town : "PICTURES RECEIVED. ALL FOUR MEN SHOT DEAD WHILE RESISTING ARREST."

한 죄수가 필사의 탈옥을 시도하다가 모두 넉 장의 사진이 각기 다른 각도에서 (감시 카메라에) 찍히고 말았다. 형무소는 이 사진들을 복사해 전국 경찰에 보내고 탈옥수를 체포하면 즉각 알려달라고 요청했다. 이튿날 어느 시골동네의 야심 찬 보안관으로부터 팩스가 날아왔다. "사진 받았음. 체포과정에서 반항한 범인 넷은 모두 사살됐음."
