There is a blonde, a redhead and a brunette on the stairway to heaven. God says, “There are 3,000 steps and I’ll tell you a joke on each 1,000th step you reach. If you laugh you go to hell.” So they start walking and reach to the first 1,000th step. God tells a joke, the brunette laughs and goes to hell. Then on the 2,000th step God tells a joke, the redhead laughs and goes to hell. On the 3,000th step God tells a joke, the blonde doesn't laugh and proceeds to the gate. Suddenly, she bursts out laughing. God asks, “what are you laughing about?” So she replies, “I just got the first joke!.” 노란 머리, 붉은 머리, 그리고 검은 머리의 세 여자가 천국 계단 앞에 섰다. 하느님이 말했다. “천국까지는 3,000계단을 올라가야 한다. 너희들이 매번 1,000번째 계단에 오를 때마다 농담을 할 것이다. 만일 웃게 되면 지옥으로 가야 한다” 세 여자는 하느님 말대로 첫번째 1,000 계단까지 올랐다. 하느님이 농담을 했다. 먼저 검은 머리가 웃다가 지옥으로 떨어졌다. 그 다음 2,000번째 계단에서는 붉은 머리가 웃다가 지옥으로 떨어졌다. 반면 노란 머리 여자는 3,000번째 계단에서 농담을 듣고도 웃지 않았고 결국 천국으로 가는 문 앞에 도착했다. 그런데 갑자기 그녀의 웃음보가 터졌다. 하느님이 물었다. “뭐 때문에 웃는 거냐?” 여자가 대답했다. “지금 첫번째 농담의 뜻하는 바를 알게 됐지 뭐예요”
