A retired man who volunteers to entertain patients in nursing homes and hospitals went to one local hospital.
He told some jokes and sang some funny songs at patients' bedsides.
When he finished he said, in farewell, "I hope you get better." One elderly gentleman replied, "I hope you get better, too."
요양원과 병원에서 환자들을 위해 오락 봉사를 하는 어느 퇴직자가 한 지역 병원을 방문했다.
그는 그 곳에서 환자의 머리맡에서 농담도 하고 재미있는 노래도 불러 주며 시간을 보냈다.
봉사활동을 마치고 작별 인사를 하며 그가 환자들에게 말했다. "빨리 좋아지시길 빌게요."
그러자 한 병상에 있는 나이 든 남자가 답했다. "당신도 좀 나아졌으면 좋겠소."
