The young couple hit on a way to save money. Each time they made love, the man would deposit all his changes in a piggy bank in their bedroom. After about a year of this they decided to break open the bank and spend the money.
Counting up the money, the husband remarked, “This is really strange-there’s all this currency here. Fives, tens, even some twenties, I don’t remember putting in any bills.” “Well” said his wife, “there are some men who aren’t as cheap as you are.”
젊은 부부가 돈 모으는 방법을 궁리해 냈다. 매번 사랑을 나눌 때마다 남편이 가지고 있는 잔돈 전부를 침실의 돼지 저금통에 넣기로 한 것이다. 1년쯤 지나 부부는 저금통을 깨서 그동안 모은 돈을 쓰기로 했다.
돈을 세던 남편이 말했다. “저금통 안에 5달러, 10달러, 심지어 20달러 짜리 지폐도 들어있으니 참 이상한 일이군. 난 지폐를 넣었던 기억이 전혀 없는데 말야” 이에 아내가 답하길, “있잖아요, 당신같이 쩨쩨하지 않은 남자들도 더러 있단 말이에요”
