“That wife of mine is a liar,” said the angry husband to a guy seated next him in the bar.
“How do you know?” the friend asked.
“She didn’t come home last night, and when I asked her where she’d been, she said she had spent the night with her sister, Kate.”
“So?”
“She’s a liar, I spent the night with her sister, Kate.”
“마누라가 거짓말을 해댄단 말야” 하고 화난 사내가 술집에서 어울린 친구에게 푸념했다.
“거짓말을 하는 걸 어떻게 알았는데?” 친구가 물었다.
“간밤에 집에 안 들어왔기에 어디 있었냐고 물었더니 동생 케이트와 잤다지 뭐야.”
“그런데?”
“거짓말 하는 거야. 간밤에 케이트랑 함께 있었던 것은 난데 말이지.”
