A general noticed one of his soldiers behaving oddly. The soldier would pick up any piece of paper he found, frown and say,"That's not it," and put it down again. This went on for some time, until the general arranged to have the soldier psychologically tested. The psychologist concluded that the soldier was deranged, and wrote out his discharge from the army.
The soldier picked it up, smiled and said: "That's it."
한 장군이 이상하게 행동하는 사병을 발견했다. 사병은 그의 눈에 들어온 모든 종이를 집어 들고 얼굴을 찡그리면서 "이게 아니야"라고 말한 뒤 종이를 다시 내려놓았다. 이 같은 현상은 장군이 사병에게 정신과 검사를 권유하기 전까지 한동안 계속됐다. 정신과 전문의는 사병이 정상은 아니라는 결론을 내리고 제대를 시켜야 한다고 (종이에) 적었다.
사병은 종이를 집어 들더니 웃으며 말했다. "바로 이거야."
