A biology teacher wished to demonstrate to his students the harmful effects of alcohol on living organisms. For his experiment, he showed them a beaker with pond water in which there was a thriving civilization of worms. When he added some alcohol into the beaker the worms doubled-up and died. He said, "what do you learn from this?" An eager student gave his answer. "The answer is obvious. If you drink alcohol, you'll never have worms."
생물 선생님이 학생들에게 알코올이 생명체에 미치는 해로운 영향을 보여주기 위해 실험을 했다. 그는 벌레들이 우글대는 연못의 물이 담긴 비커를 학생들에게 보여주고 그 비커에 알코올을 부었다. 벌레들은 몸을 웅크리다 죽어버렸다. 선생님이 말했다. "여러분은 이 실험에서 무엇을 배웠죠?" 한 열성적인 학생이 답했다. "답은 명백해요. 술을 마시면 회충이 안 생긴다는 거죠."
