A first grader was sitting in class as the teacher was reading the story of the Three Little Pigs. She came to the part of the story where the first pig was trying to acquire building materials for his home. She said "…and so the pig went up to the man with a wheelbarrow full of straw and said, 'Pardon me sir, but might I have some of that straw to build my house with?'"Then the teacher asked the class, "And what do you think that man said?"One of students raised his hand and said, "I know! I know! he said…'Holy smokes! A talking pig!'"
초등학교 1학년 교실에서 선생님이 학생들에게 아기돼지 삼형제 이야기를 읽어주고 있었다. 첫째 돼지가 집을 지을 재료를 구하러 다니는 대목에 이르러 선생님이 말했다. "그래서 돼지는 밀짚으로 가득 찬 손수레를 끌고 있는 남자에게 다가가 이렇게 말했어요. "실례합니다, 선생님. 제가 집을 지을 수 있도록 밀짚을 나눠주시겠어요?'" 그런 다음 선생님이 반 아이들에게 질문했다. "이때 남자가 뭐라고 했을 것 같아요?" 한 학생이 손을 들더니 말했다. "알아요! 알아요! 그는 이렇게 말했어요.'세상에! 돼지가 말을 하잖아!"
