One day a college professor of Psychology was greeting his new college class. He stood up in front of the class and said, “Would everyone who thinks he or she is stupid please stand up?” After a minute or so of silence, a young man stood up. “Well, hello there sir. So you actually think you’re a moron?” the professor asked. The kid replied, “No sir, I just didn’t want to see you standing there all by yourself.” 한 대학의 심리학과 교수가 첫 강의시간에 학생들과 인사를 나눈후 연단 앞에서 말했다. “여기서 자신이 바보라고 생각하는 사람 있으면 한번 일어서 볼래?” 잠시 침묵이 흐른 뒤 한 남학생이 일어섰다. 교수가 물었다. “한명 있군, 자네는 정말 자네가 바보라고 생각하나?” 학생이 대답했다. “아니오, 교수님. 저는 단지 교수님 혼자 서 게시는 걸 보고 싶지 않아서 일어섰을 뿐인데요.”
