A rich Beverly Hills lady got very angry at her French maid. After a long list of stinging remarks about her shortcomings she dismissed the maid.
The maid couldn't allow such abuse to go unanswered. “Your husband considers me a better housekeeper and cook than you, Madam. He has told me himself.”
“And furthermore," the angry girl continued, “I am better in bed than you!”
“And I suppose my husband told you that, too?”
“No, Madam” said the maid. “The chauffeur told me that!”
베버리힐즈에 사는 한 갑부 부인이 프랑스인 하녀에 대해 매우 화가 났다. 그 부인은 하녀의 단점을 일일이 지적하며 일장 연설을 한 후 해고했다.
하녀도 가만 있지 않았다. “당신 남편은 나를 당신보다 훨씬 나은 주부이자 요리사로 생각해요. 남편이 직접 말했어요.”

“그것도 내 남편이 당신에게 말한 거야.”
“아뇨. 부인”하녀가 말했다. “운전사가 그랬어요.”
