A presidenct began intervewing young lawyers.
“I`d like to be sure you are an honest lawyer.” she said to the first applicant
“Why, I`m so honest that my father lent me fifteen thousand dollars for my education and I paid back every penny the minute I tried my first case.”
“What sort of case was that?”
The lawyer squirmed and admitted, “He sued me for the money.”
사장이 젊은 변호사들을 면접하기 시작했다.
“당신이 정직한 변호사인지 여부를 확인하고 싶습니다”라고 여사장은 첫 면접자에게 말했다. “저는 부친께서 꿔주셨던 학자금 1만5,000달러를 저의 첫 소송 사건 후 바로 전액 갚아드렸을 정도로 정직합니다.” “첫 소송은 어떤 사건이었죠?”
그러자 젊은 변호사가 어색한 표정을 지으며 실토했다. “아버지가 빌려준 돈을 갚으라고 소송을 제기했었습니다.”
