“I`m sorry, madam, but I shall have to charge you ten dollars for pulling your boy`s tooth.”
“Ten dollar? Why, I understood you to say that you charged only two dollars for such work!”
“Yes,” replied the dentist, “but this youngster yelled so terribly that he scared four other patients out of office.”
“죄송합니다만 자녀분 치아 치료비로 10달러를 내셔야겠습니다.”
“10달러요? 치료비가 2달러라고 그러셨잖아요”
“맞습니다. 그런데 당신 자녀가 너무 크게 소리를 지르는 바람에 다른 4명의 손님들이 무서워서 밖으로 나갔거든요.”
