Poor little Kenneth wrote a letter to God, he implored the Almighty to send him $20 to buy a toy. A postal clerk forwarded the letter to City Hall. The mayor pulled out a $5 bill and sent it off to Kenneth. When the envelope arrived, Kenneth grew red with rage. He wrote back to God, "Lord, thanks for the $20. Only why'd you send it through City Hall? The bastards kept 75 for taxes!"
