One day, a mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, chemical engineer, and computer engineer were driving down the street in the same car when it broke down.
The mechanical engineer said, “I think a rod broke.” The chemical engineer said, “The way it sputtered at the end, I think it’s not getting enough gas.”
The electrical engineer said, “I think there was a spark and something’s wrong with the electrical system.” All three turned to the computer engineer and said, “What do you think?” The computer engineer said, “I think we should all get out and then get back in.”
어느날 기계공학자와 전기공학자, 그리고 화학공학자, 컴퓨터공학자가 함께 자동차를 타고 시내로 가던 중 갑자기 차의 시동이 꺼졌다. 기계공학자가 말했다. “내 생각에는 로드 축이 망가진 것 같은데.” 화학공학자가 말했다.
“뒤에서 나는 털털거리는 소리로 봐서 기름이 떨어진 것 같군.” 전기공학자가 말했다. “스파크가 튀는 것을 보니 전기 시스템이 고장이 난 것 같아.” 세 사람이 마지막으로 컴퓨터공학자를 쳐다보며 물었다.
“당신 생각은 어때?” 그러자 컴퓨터공학자 曰,“(컴퓨터를 재부팅할 때처럼) 그냥 차에서 내렸다가 다시 타면 될 거야.”
