A bus filled with politicians was driving through the countryside on the campaign trail. The bus driver loses control and crashes into the ditch.
A farmer living nearby hears the horrible crash and rushes out to discover the wreckage. Finding the politicians, he buries them.
The next day, the police to the farm and asked, "So were all the politicians dead?"
The farmer answered, "Some said they weren't, but you know how politicians lie."
정치인들이 탄 버스가 유세를 위해 시골 마을을 지나가고 있었다. 그런데 버스 운전사가 주의가 산만해진 탓에 버스가 도랑에 빠져버렸다.
근처에 사는 한 농부가 이 끔찍한 소리를 듣고 달려나와 난장판이 된 현장을 발견했다. 그는 사고를 당한 사람들이 정치인들이라는 것을 확인하자 그들을 몽땅 묻어버렸다.
다음 날 경찰이 농장에 와서 "그래서(사고로) 그 정치인들이 다 죽었나요?"라고 물었다.
이에 농부 왈, "몇몇은 안 죽었다고 했는데요, 정치인들이 얼마나 거짓말을 잘하는지 당신도 아시잖아요."
