대단한 정치인
A political party ward boss was approached by a wealthy businessman who needed some favors.
The tycoon offered the man a new sports car, but the wily politician declined, explaining his innate honesty prevented him from accepting.
"Okay," said the wealthy businessman, "How about my selling it to you for ten dollars?"
"Well, in that case," said the politician, "I'll take two."
특혜를 받으려는 부자 기업인이 어느 정당의 지구당위원장을 찾아갔다.
거물기업가는 그 사람에게 새 스포츠카를 제공했으나 약삭빠른 정치가는 타고난 성격이 고지식해서 도저히 그런 것을 받을 수 없다면서 사양했다.
"좋아요. 그럼 10달러에 팔 테니 사세요."
그러자 그 정치인인 말했다. "그렇다면 두 대 삽시다."
