An American businessman is on a business trip in Japan and hires a hooker. The whole night, this Japanese hooker keeps screaming: "Hoshimota! Hoshimota!" He can't quite remember what the word means, but he's sure he's pleased the hooker to best of his ability.
The next morning, he goes to play a game of golf with his Japanese business partner when he makes a hole-in-one. Everyone is congratulating him in Japanese and he can't think anything to say but "HOSHIMOTA!" Concerned, his partner turns to him
"What do you mean it's in the wrong hole?"
미국 사업가가 일본 출장 중에 일본 매춘부와 하루 밤을 지냈다. 그 여자는 그날 '호시모타' '호시모타'라며 밤 새도록 비명을 질러댔다. 미국인은 '호시모타(과녁 아래라는 뜻의 일본어)'라는 말 뜻을 잘 몰랐지만 아무튼 그는 밤일을 끝내줬다는 의미쯤으로 이해했다. 다음 날 아침 그 남자는 일본의 사업 파트너들과 골프를 쳤는데 운 좋게도 홀인원을 했다.
동반자들이 일본말로 축하해 주자 그는 자신이 알고 있는 유일한 일본어인 '호시모타'라고 맞장구 쳤다. 동반자들이 그 말을 듣더니 "다른 구멍에 넣었다니 그게 무슨 소리야"
