A girl reports for her university final exam which consists of mainly true and false questions. She takes her seat in the examination hall, stares at the question paper for five minutes, and then takes her purse out, removes a coin and starts tossing the coin and marking the answer sheet: true for heads and false for tails. Within thirty minutes she is all done, whereas the rest of the class is still working furiously. During the last few minutes, she is seen desperately throwing the coin, swearing and sweating. The moderator, alarmed, approaches her and asks what is happening. "I finished the exam in a half hour," she replies. "And as I have more time left, I'm rechecking my answers."
한 여학생이 주로 O X 로 구성된 기말시험을 치르러 학교에 갔다. 시험장 자리에 앉은 여자는 질문지를 5분간 들여다 본 뒤 지갑에서 동전을 하나 꺼내더니 동전을 던져 답을 채워가기 시작했다. 동전 앞면이 나오면 O, 뒷면이 나오면 X라 적었다. 30분 안에 여학생은 시험을 전부 마쳤지만 나머지 학생들은 여전히 시험을 치르느라 바빴다.
종료 몇 분 전, 여학생은 욕을 퍼붓고 땀을 흘리면서 필사적으로 동전을 던지고 있었다. 놀란 감독관이 다가가 이유를 물었다. "30분 안에 시험을 끝냈는데요," 학생이 답했다. "30분이 더 남았길래 답안을 재검토했어요."
