This had most of the state of Michigan laughing for days and the person in center of the story will now, likely think before she speaks. What happens when you predict snow but don’t get any? A true story. A female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn’t, turned to the weatherman and asked : “So David, where’s that 8 inches you promised me last night?” Not only did HE have to leave the set, but half the crew did too they were laughing so hard. 이 이야기는 지난 며칠동안 미국 미시간주의 모든 이들을 웃게 만들었다. 사건의 주인공은 이제 말을 하기 전에 먼저 깊은 생각을 하는 습관을 들였다고 한다. 눈이 온다고 예보했는데, 실제 눈이 전혀 내리지 않으면 어떻게 될까? 실제 있었던 일이다. 한 여성 앵커가 전날 눈이 올 것이라고 보도한 뒤 다음 날 눈이 오지 않자, 남성 기상캐스터에게 이렇게 물었다. “데이비드, 어제 당신이 제게 약속했던 8인치는 도대체 어떻게 된 거죠?” 이 소리를 듣고 기상캐스터가 그 자리에서 도망쳤음은 물론, 스탭의 절반이상도 포복절도했다.
