A busload of politicians were driving down a country road when the bus suddenly ran off the road and crashed into an old farmer's field. The farmer rushed over to investigate. He then began digging a large grave to bury the politicians. A few hours later the local sheriff saw the crashed bus and asked the farmer where all the politicians had gone. The farmer explained that he'd buried them. "Were they all dead?" asked the sheriff. The old man said, "Some of them said they weren't, but you know how them politicians lie." 정치인들이 가득 탄 버스가 시골길을 달리다 길에서 벗어나면서 나이 든 농부의 밭으로 처박혔다. 농부는 달려가서 사고현장을 확인하고는 큰 구덩이를 파서 정치인들을 묻었다. 몇 시간 뒤 동네 보안관이 전복된 버스를 발견하고는 농부에게 정치인들은 다 어디로 갔는지 물었다. 농부는 자신이 그들을 묻어버렸다고 했다. "모두 죽어 있던가요?" 보안관의 질문에 농부가 말했다. "그들 중 몇몇은 아니라고 했는데요, 정치인들이 얼마나 거짓말을 잘하는지 보안관님도 잘 아시잖아요."
