An aged farmer and his wife realized that the next week would mark their golden wedding anniversary. "What do we have for an anniversary?" she suggested. "Let's take down a pig." The farmer scratched his grizzled head. "Well", he answered, "I don't see why the pig should bear the blame for the tragedy that happened fifty years ago." 나이든 농부와 그의 아내가 금혼식(결혼 50주년)이 다음 주라는 것을 알게 됐다. 아내는 "(금혼) 기념일에 뭘 할까요?"라며 "돼지를 한 마리 잡읍시다"라고 제안했다. 그러자 농부가 반백의 머리를 긁적이며 답했다.
