A man was sued by a woman for defamation of character. She charged that he had called her a pig. The man was found guilty and fined. After the trial he asked the judge, "This means that I cannot call Mrs. Johnson a pig?" The judge said that was true. "Does this mean I cannot call a pig Mrs. Johnson?" the man asked. The judge replied that he could call a pig Mrs. Johnson. The man looked directly at Mrs. Johnson and said, "Good afternoon, Mrs. Johnson." 한 남자가 명예훼손죄로 고소를 당했다. 고소를 한 여자는 그 남자가 자기를 돼지라고 불렀다고 주장했다. 남자는 유죄로 판명돼 벌금형을 선고 받았다. 재판이 끝난 뒤 그는 판사에게 물었다, "그렇다면 존슨 부인을 돼지라고 부르면 안 된다는 겁니까?" 판사는 그렇다고 답했다. "그렇다면 돼지를 존슨 부인이라고 부를 수도 없나요?" 남자가 물었다. 판사는 돼지를 존슨 부인이라고 부르는 것은 괜찮다고 답했다. 그러자 남자는 존슨 부인을 똑바로 쳐다보며 말했다. "안녕하세요 존슨 부인."
