In a 'friendly' poker game, a doctor was taking a frightful shellacking.Then, the doctor drew a second ace. Unfortunately, his friend Joe chose this moment to suffer a heart attack and slumped over the table to die.
"What'll we do now?" the whitefaced players implored the doctor. "Out of respect for the dead." he replied promptly, "I suggest we finish this hand standing up."
