Julia, sunbathing on the roof of hotel, slipped out of her gown for an overall tanning thinking that no one could see her. She'd hardly begun when she heard someone running up the stairs. She was lying on her stomach, so she pulled a towel over her rear. "Excuse me, miss," said the manager, out of breath. "We don't mind you sunbath on the roof, but we'd appreciate you wear a bathing suit." "What for? no one can see me up here." "Not exactly," he said "You're lying on the dining room skylight." 줄리아는 호텔 맨 위층에서 썬탠을 하고 있었다. 전신 태닝을 하고 싶었던 줄리아는 주위에 아무도 없단 생각에 입고 있던 가운을 벗었다. 얼마 되지 않아 누군가 계단위로 올라오는 소리가 들렸다. 바닥에 엎드려 있던 줄리아는 타월로 등을 덮었다. 숨가쁘게 올라온 호텔 매니저는 "손님, 손님께서 태닝하시는 건 아무 문제가 되지 않지만 웬만하면 가운을 입어주셨으면 합니다." 줄리아는 "왜죠? 여긴 아무도 없는데"라고 반박했다. 그러자 매니저 왈, "실은 그렇지만은 않은게…손님께서 엎드려 계신 바닥이 저희 호텔 스카이라운지 지붕이거든요."
