One day my mother was out and my dad was in charge of the children. Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I brought him a little cup of 'tea', which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my Mom came home. My Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea, because it was just the cutest thing!! My Mom waited, and sure enough, here I come down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy and she watches him drink it up, then says, "Did it ever realize that only place that baby can reach to get water is the toilet?" 어느날 엄마는 외출하시고 아빠가 아이들을 책임지게 되었다. 아빠가 거실에서 신문 읽기에 열중하고 계셨고 그 때 나는 맹물로 만든 '차'를 끓여서 아빠에게 마시라고 드렸다. 나는 차를 여러 잔 아빠께 갖다 드렸고 아빠가 칭찬을 해 주시며 그 차를 모두 마신 후에 엄마가 돌아오셨다. 아빠는 내가 차를 만들어 드리는 '귀여운 짓' 을 엄마에게도 보여주려고 하셨다. 엄마는 기다렸고, 역시나 나는 차를 한 잔 만들어 아빠께 드렸으며 아빠는 엄마가 보는 가운데 그 차를 들이켰다. 그러자 엄마가 "여보, 아기가 손이 닿아 물을 받을 수 있는 장소는 오직 '변기'라는 사실을 알죠?"라고 말했다.
