When Tony's wife passed away, he was almost inconsolable. His whole frame shook with wild sobs. "Now, Tony," soothed his friend, "it really is not so bad. I know it is tough now, but in six months maybe you find another beautiful girl and first thing you know you get married again." Tony turned to him in a rage. "Six months! What I gonna do tonight?"
토니는 부인이 죽자 매우 슬퍼했다. 친구가 토니를 달랬다. "여보게 토니, 그렇게 까지 슬퍼할 것 없잖아? 지금 당장에는 괴로울 테지만 6개월이 지나면 예쁜 아가씨와 만나서 거뜬히 결혼을 다시 하게 될 수도 있는 일 아닌가?" 토니는 이 친구를 보고 노발대발했다.
