One day a friend asks a single man, “Why aren’t you married?”
He said, “When I bring women home to meet my parents, my mother doesn’t like them.”
His friend says, “Find a girl who is exactly like your mother.”
A few months later, they meet again and the friend says, “Did you find the perfect girl? Did your mother like her?”
The single man said, “Yes, I found the perfect girl. You were right. My mother liked her very much.”
The friend says, “So, what’s the problem?”
He replies, “My father doesn’t like her.”
한 친구가 독신남에게 물었다. “너는 왜 결혼을 안 하지?”
그가 답했다. “내가 집에 여자를 데려가면 우리 엄마가 그녀를 싫어하셔”
친구가 말했다. “그럼 꼭 너희 엄마와 같은 사람을 데려가면 되겠네.”
몇 달 후 그들이 다시 만났다. 친구가 물었다. “엄마 같은 여자를 만났니? 너희 엄마가 좋아하셔?”
독신남이 답했다. “네 말이 맞았어. 우리 엄마가 그녀를 무척 좋아하시더라.”
친구가 물었다. “그런데 뭐가 문제야?”
독신남이 말했다. “아빠가 그녀를 싫어하셔.”
