A man finally goes with his wife to church, after promising her for weeks that he’d go.
“Preacher, I'll tell you, that was a DAMN fine sermon.” The man talk to the preacher after the service.
The preacher says, “Why thank you sir, but we don't used profanity in the house of the Lord.” But the man says “But preacher, seriously, that was the best DAMNED sermon I ever heard.”
The preacher says again the man should not use curse words. The man says, “Well, anyway, I was so impressed with your sermon that I placed $5,000 dollars in the collection plate”
“No Shit?” says the Preacher.
한 남자가 몇 주 동안 계속된 부인의 설득에 못 이겨 교회에 갔다. 남자는 예배 뒤 “목사님, 솔직히 죽이게 훌륭한 설교였습니다”고 고백했다.
그러자 목사는 “성도님, 매우 감사합니다만 주님의 전당에서는 신성한 언어만 사용해야 합니다”고 말했다.
남자는 “하지만 정말 죽여주게 좋았는걸요”라고 답했다. 목사는 남자에게 그런 속어를 쓰지 말라고 재차 당부했다.
남자는 이어 “좋아요, 여하튼, 제가 정말 감명을 받아서 현금함에 5,000달러를 넣었어요.”라고 말했다.
그러자 목사가 외쳤다. “오 젠장, 정말요?”
