The shoe dealer was hiring a clerk. "Suppose a lady customer were to remark while you were trying to fit her, 'Don't you think one of my feet is bigger than the other?'what would you say?"
"I should say, 'Madam, one is smaller than the other. '"
"The job is yours."
신발가게 주인이 점원을 뽑고 있었다. "자네가 여성 손님에게 신발을 신겨드리는데 그 손님이 '제 한쪽 발이 더 크지 않나요?'라고 묻는다면 뭐라고 하겠나?"
"저라면 '사모님, 한 쪽 발이 다른 쪽보다 좀 작으시네요'라고 답하겠습니다."
"자네 합격이야."
