At school Johnny was told by a classmate that most adults are hiding at least one dark secret, and that this makes it very easy to blackmail them by saying, “I know the whole truth.”
He goes home and says to his mother, “I know the whole truth.” His mother quickly hands him $20 and says, “Just don't tell your father.”
Quite pleased, he waits for his father, and greets him with, “I know the whole truth.”
The father hands him another $20 and says, “Don’t say a word to your mother.”
The boy is on his way to school the next day when he sees the mailman at the front door and says, “I knows the whole truth.” The mailman opens his arms and says, “Oh! Johnny, then come give your daddy a big hug!”

신바람이 난 그는 아빠가 돌아오기를 기다렸다가 아빠가 나타나자 “아빠 나는 다 알고 있어요!”라고 했다. 아빠도 20달러를 건네주면서 “엄마한테는 아무 소리 마”라고 했다.
이튿날 학교에 가려던 그는 집 앞에서 집배원을 보고는 “아저씨 나는 다 알아요!”라고 했다. 그러자 두 팔을 펼치면서 우체부가 하는 말, “오 쟈니야! 그럼 이리 와서 아빠를 한 번 크게 안아주렴!”
