A guy dies and goes to heaven. His tour guide starts to show him around the whole place; the tennis courts, the main lobby, when they come upon a room full of clocks.
Some are going fast, some slow and some normal. “What’s with all the clocks?” the guy asks his tour guide.
“each clock is for each person on earth. Every time they tell a lie, their clock goes faster” he said.
Then he noticed a clock on the ceiling going tremendously fast, and much faster than all the others. “what’s that?” the guy said pointing to the ceiling. “Oh, that’s George W Bush’s clock. We use it as a fan.”
한 남자가 죽어 천국에 갔다. 천국 가이드가 그 남자를 데리고 테니스장과 로비 등 여기저기를 구경 시켜주고 있었다. 그 때 그들은 시계로 가득찬 방에 다다랐다. 어떤 시계는 매우 빠르게 가는가 하면 어떤 것은 아주 느리게, 어떤 것은 정상 속도로 움직이고 있었다. 그 남자가 “저 시계들은 뭐죠?”라고 묻자 가이드가 답했다. “저 시계는 각각 지구상 인간들을 나타낸답니다. 거짓말을 많이 할수록 빨리 가게 돼있죠.”
말이 끝났을 때 그 남자는 천장에 매달린 채 엄청난 속도로 움직이는 시계를 가리키며 저건 뭐냐고 물었다. 그러자 그 가이드 왈, “아, 저건 부시 대통령 시계랍니다. 우린 그걸 선풍기로 이용하죠.”
